BETHEL DAY OF PRAYER

We ask you to take some time on Sunday the 1st to join us in coming to our merciful God in prayer.

THIS WILL BE HELD AT BETHEL, SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 1, STARTING IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING THE LATE SERVICE UNTIL 4 PM.

A Prayer Guide will be available for you to use.  It will include prayers for our nation and our church as well as other prayer concerns you might have. (If you want to stay and pray immediately after the late service you may get the Prayer Guide and go to the Prayer Garden.   In about 10 minutes after the service the sanctuary will have been disinfected and you can use it for prayer).
As a part of God’s chosen people, you are invited to take part in this Bethel Day of Prayer.  (This is a “come and go” event – just take the time you personally need to go through the Prayer Guide).
To say that prayers are needed for our nation is almost an understatement.   As St. Paul tells us in the passage from 1 Timothy, it is good and right that we offer such prayers.
1 Timothy 2:1-2 – I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people—  for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.

We hope that you can join us in prayer on November 1st at Bethel.
