Ash Wednesday

Worship with Communion will be held at noon and 6:45.
Ashes will be offered at the front of our sanctuary at 11:30 AM and at 6 PM before each service. “Imposition of Ashes” is simply the marking of the forehead with palm ashes.
The imposition of ashes on the forehead of the worshipper signifies that a period of prayer, fasting, and “sitting in sackcloth and ashes” has begun.
We especially encourage parents to bring your children as the marking of the ashes offers you a wonderful teachable moment.
Childcare will be available during the 6:45 service and will be available upon request at the noon service.
