Tetsuya Sugita started working as Bethel’s Director of Parish Music (D.P.M.) on September 15, 2021 and was installed during Reformation October 31, 2021. Mr. Sugita graduated from Concordia University Irvine in 1994 with a degree in music.  He earned his Master in music from Cal State Fullerton. Mr. Sugita is from Yokohama Japan.  He has served at Lutheran churches in Anaheim, California and Grand Island Nebraska, prior to coming to Bethel. Tetsuya and his wife, Julie, have 4 children and 2 grandchildren.
