Music Ministry at Bethel
There are many ways to get involved in Bethel’s Music Ministry- singing, ringing, playing-all give glory to God and raise our spirits in worship. Please think about participating in one of these groups:
Adult Choir – Meets in the choir room for practice weekly on Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. Sings frequently during early service and special services. All singers, High School and older, are welcome. Contact Greg Montgomery or Beverly Catalina via the church office at email@example.com for more information.
Hand bell Choir – Meets in the hand bell practice room weekly on Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m. Plays when ready during early service and special services. All ringers, High School and older, are welcome. No ringing experience is needed, but the ability to read music and understand note values is a plus! Contact Beverly Catalina via the church office at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
Sunday School Singers – 1st through 4th graders meet at the start of Sunday School from 9:45-10:00 each week. They learn that music is a great way to praise the Lord and also share special music in church services on occasion. Leaders are Trish Nipps and Rebekah Zehnder and can be contacted via the church office at email@example.com for more information.
Bethel Brass The brass ensemble meets seasonally on Wednesday evenings during the year to prepare music to enhance special services (Reformation, Advent, Christmas, Lent, Easter). Good instrumental ability and willingness to practice at home are needed. Contact Greg Montgomery via the church office at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information or to volunteer.
His Praise – His Praise leads much of the music during the late service each Sunday. Their focus is on preparing and playing contemporary music to lead the congregation in song. Practice is weekly prior to the late service. His Praise needs accomplished instrumentalists, particularly strings, and strong lead vocalists. Contact Jeremy Shilling at email@example.com for more information or to volunteer.
