Hearing Aid Audio Broadcasting: 

 

Bethel now provides a sanctuary audio broadcasting service called Auracast Broadcasting that streams the audio directly to a person’s hearing aid through their hearing aid phone app. You will need to select this option each time you are attending.

  • Instructions to connect:
    1. Open your hearing aid app on your phone.
    2. Look for streaming services or available streaming services.  It should have Auracast SANCTUARY listed as a connection option.  Select it.
    3. Now you should be able to hear the church service!
  • If your hearing aid app does not have the streaming option shown, you will need to go to your hearing aid provider to have them update the firmware version for your hearing aids.  Be sure to explain to them that you want to connect to Auracast Broadcasting.
  • Known supported hearing aid devices: ReSound, Nexia, Vivia, Starkey and Oticon
